The Institutional Assessment Committee (CoIA) is intended to advise the Academic Management of the Medical Sciences Campus in the development, implementation and maintenance of a system of continuous assessment that allows determining the effectiveness of the campus in fulfilling its mission, goals and objectives.

 

Student Learning Assessment Committee – Visit website

The Student Learning Assessment Committee is intended to assist the Academic Management of the Medical Sciences Campus and its 6 Schools to use the results of student achievement learning outcomes to improve teaching and learning and use the evidence for planning and resource allocation decisions.

 

Periodic Review Report Steering Committee

The PRR Steering Committee is intended to assist the Academic Management of the Medical Sciences Campus in the continuous assessment of the institutions educational mission, goals and objectives as a mid cycle ongoing evaluation after the institutions MSCHE decennial self study and evaluation team visit.

 

Council on Educational Planning and Integration or Associate Deans Council

The Council on Educational Planning and Integration (CIPE, Spanish acronym) or Associate Deans Council is an advisory body to the Dean for Academic Affairs. Its main purpose is to provide input into aspects related to the academic programs of the different faculties of the Medical Sciences Campus with the fundamentals of the educational philosophy of the Medical Sciences Campus and the University of Puerto Rico, thus facilitating decision-making processes.

 

Teaching and Research Assistantships Committee

The Teaching and Research Assistantships Committee assists Academic Management of the Medical Sciences Campus to provide a means for the graduate student to acquire skills in teaching and research that allow them to develop their educational and research potential, within a framework of academic excellence and professional.
